Behind the scenes at rehab with roni

What it’s really like to work with us—and why we do things differently.

If you’ve ever wondered what actually goes on behind the scenes at Rehab with Roni, I wanted to give you the inside scoop from the founder herself.

I try to showcase much of what my days look like inside the clinic on social media, but lets delve a little more into it today.

---

Why I Started This Practice

After working in traditional PT clinics, I recognized that too many patients were pushed through quick appointments and handed generic treatment plans. I knew I was capable of creating a better, more individualized environment for physical rehabilitation.

So I created a space where care is personalized, progress is measured in real strength, and every session is truly 1-on-1. No PT techs running you through your routine, no laptop consuming my attention so I can document on time. Just you, me, and our treatment plan.

What to Expect from a Session

Here’s what a typical visit looks like:

- We check in on how your body’s feeling—and how you’re moving. Are symptoms decreasing? Are you sore? Were you able to sleep better with less pain?

- We reassess progress and tailor exercises specifically for you. We are consistently testing and then re-testing objective measures that can guide our treatments in the right direction. Knee pain with squatting? Let’s try some hands-on treatment and then re-test that squat.

- We build strength and mobility with intention, not just maintenance.

- You leave with a clear plan, updated home exercises, your questions answered, and feeling better overall.

Our entire goal is to emphasize your ability to rebuild, get strong, and move with purpose.

A Typical Day in the Clinic

Here’s a quick snapshot of what my Monday included this week:

- Helping a runner with knee pain get back to golfing and running pain-free

- Teaching spinal stability drills to someone recovering from low back pain

- Mentoring a physical therapist who’s Interested In starting her own practice

- Assessing a long-time client’s new shoulder pain after a recent MRI

- Evaluating a young runner who recently developed bilateral knee pain

- Creating content to educate and empower beyond the session

Every day is different—but the mission is the same: help people move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love.

If you’re still reading, it’s time I mention the one constant in my clinical practice that has shaped my ability to build my business from the ground up: JANE. Jane is a clinical management software that helps me build out my schedule, process payments, document patient visits, run all reports, set reminders for patient visits, and they recently implemented AI to assist with note-taking.

Try your first month on me, free of charge, with code PTRONI1MO

Check out Jane for yourself here, and let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for being here,

Roni
